Help!!
I have a G Pro FPL for my T-Rex 500. My T-rex came with a castle Talon 90. Whenever I plug the power wire for my Talon 90 to my G Pro nothing happens no lights come on nothing I do not know what to do can somebody please help. There's no way to further program the helicopter now without being connected to a transmitter so kind of stuck.... I've even ordered an AR 7200 BX to see if that will work can anybody give me a walkthrough or guide or tell me how to get my G Pro piece of junk to work

I have to ask an obvious question here. Do you have any form of receiver connected to your GPro? If so, is the receiver bound to your transmitter?

Unless you have a receiver connected, nothing's going to happen at the GPro. The first step in setup is to tell the GPro what kind of RX you are using, and if it is any form of satellite, the second step is to bind that RX to your TX through the GPro setup process.

The GPro, by itself, has NO built-in receiver, so you MUST have some form of receiver (satellite or "standard" ) connected.

If you have a separate, "standard" receiver, and it is connected properly to the GPro using the supplied set of cables, you can bind the RX to your TX as you normally would. Even at that, you need to tell the GPro that you're using an external, "standard" receiver before you can continue through the setup procedure.

Also make certain the Talon 90 power cable to your GPro is connected to one of the two lower, horizontal connectors, with the ground wire on the left, when looking into the connector block.

At least with the AR 7200 BX it's an all-in-one just plug up and bind Right?

Are you connected to a PC using the USB adapter, and do you have the GPro software running on your PC? The GPro isn't going to just start up and run with a satellite unless you hook it up to your PC and tell it to bind. Until you do that, it will appear to be dead.

It's only a "piece of junk" at this point, due to apparent operator error.

The GPro is actually a very good, very reliable FBL controller. I have eight of them installed and flying quite well, with no problems whatsoever.

PC connected to the GPro using the USB cable. Make certain the USB cable is fully plugged into the GPro.

Make certain your PC actually recognizes the USB connection. If it doesn't, you have PC problems, not GPro trouble.

Go to this menu in the GPro Software:

Tell the GPro you want to BIND, and I assume either a DSM2 or DSMx receiver. Pick the right one.

Unplug the power to the GPro, then plug it back in, your Satellite should now have a rapidly flasing LED.

Bind your TX as you normally would.

Things should be alive at this point.

Also make certain the Talon 90 is actually putting out 6 volts (and that all three of the wires in the Talon RX connector are installed and in the right place.) Red should be in the center of the three plug positions.

Sounds like PC problems, not GPro.

If you're going to throw the GPro out, throw it my way.

You may want to post your question in the Spektrum forum ???

And you may want to pick up the manual for that unit and do some reading???

You still have to bind it to your TX, and you still need to step through a series of programming steps, although you'll be using a pushbutton on top of the 7200 and having to figure out whether you want red, purple, blue, or green lights.

You use the transmitter sticks to program the 7200. Good luck.

If you gave up on your GPro after a couple of tries, that doesn't bode well for getting a 7200 up and running.
