Starter Adapters
Hey Guys,
I have a need for a starter adapter for my Fury with a 6mm start shaft. Some kind of way...My shaft has worn the adapter out.....This boggles my mind because I mistakenly bought a 5mm adapter and tried to drill it and it destroyed every bit I had and every bit I bought brand new...I know that it is hardened steel. Anyway, Ron doesn't have any and nobody else seems to know what I mean by start adapter....I just wanna go flying!!!!

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey flipmode find out what dia. your heli's start shaft is... then start looking for a start adapter for that size shaft with a 6mm start adapter end ..I had the same trouble when using the align jack hammer starter.... If you can post the start shaft dia I'll help you look for one....what heli is this for ? or do you just need the 6mm drive from the starter motor to the heli....I have a 6mm starter shaft with a ball end is that what you need ? it yours if that's all you need ...I dream of a better world, A world where a chicken's crossing a road IS NOT questioned

He put in the first post that it is a 6mm diameter.

Il, do a little googling later if you don't find one soon. I remember using one from a Raptor 90 on my Fury way back when.

Pretty sure the Synergy N7 starter adapter is for a 6mm shaft. In the manual its going through a 6mm id bearing. Helidirect has it.

Synergy N7 looks like a good recommendation. The Raptor 90 is crap. The set screws blew out the first time I tried to crank my XCell ! Not enough threads.
