Callie does her thing...again. So quick, so kind, and so inexpensive.

A bit more progress.
Vacation break and get caught up at work got in the way. This weekend should make some strides.

That's looking great! I really like the color, should be easy to see in the air.

Progress
Well we're definitely past the "kit" part and into free-form which means get stuck on something then bounce to another part.
Coming up with a solution to hang the tank that'll make me happy...creative beer time.

Tank support
With a whole lot of patience and some artistic license I managed to create a tank support that was not only functional but matched the theme of the helicopter. It'll get painted orange to match.
For the purist, maybe not, but for fantasy scale...

Is that brace going to hold the tank so that there is no movement at all?
Otherwise it will vibrate into the main gear.

The brace will be attached to the tank and then I'll have two limiting brackets underneath the deck to prevent exactly that. Isn't a lot of room to spare by that gear.

man that looks really good.

I always felt that the turbine version was missing details up top and these scale bits really dress it up very nicely.
I have the electric version and so mine has those scale bits to detail the top end.

thanks for sharing your build with us!
