tarot 450 pro v2 servo ball measurments?
I have been flying the 450 today (first time in a while)and I still think the pitch is way to twitchy, I am trying to think about how I can adjust something in order to help.

I run a governor at 3 different head speeds still the same.
I have reduced overall pitch from +-13° to +-10° still the same.

my servo balls are at about 11mm I am thinking that if I move the balls out 1 hole on the arm it may help, am I right?

it just feels like the smallest movement on the stick has a massive impact on the pitch, I know this is a small and fast 450 but this feels too sensitive I want a bigger movement of the stick for a smaller movement of pitch, the aileron and elevator I can live with.

any other ideas or suggestions appreciated.

Don't own that heli but this advice applies to them all.....

Dial in about 35-40 % expo...... that will tame it down
Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

What is your pitch curve set at? Try setting it to a flatter curve . Insted of 100/100 pitch set it to 80/80 see if that helps ..... longer arms on the serve may help.Fly Hard......Team Viagra

Adding expo to the aileron and elevator will probably not affect the pitch curve function....

Please post your pitch curve numbers.... If your pitch curve is a straight line, then what you can do is flatten out the middle of the curve.

Just as an example, if your curve is 0-25-50-75-100 you might want to try 0-25-40-50-60-75-100. According to your profile, you have a DX9 ??? That radio supports a 7 point pitch and throttle curve.

That 40-50-60 in the middle basically functions similar to expo..... your "curve" will look more like a curve vs a straight line...... My JR radio has an "expo" function for the pitch that I can turn on or off and with it "on", the software blends the numbers making it a smooth curve and a smoother feel on the sticks.

Additionally, I'm not familiar with the ar7200bx FBL unit but take a look at the manual as many of these units have settings that you can tweak that might tone down the unit's sensitivity....

That sounds like it may help me, I do have a flat curve 0 25 50 75 100, I will look into a 7 point curve not even sure how to change to a 7 point curve, but when I get in from work I will check

Thanks for your input

well the good news is I tried the 7 point pitch curve and it made a huge difference !

I was just tweaking it further when I had a unfortunate moment so now I am grounded again. I forgot how fast these 450 pick up speed !

will be back shortly.
