Align 610 current draw
Hi all.

I've just bought a used 700e V2 with Align 610 cyclic servos. I have a CC 10A bec set to 6V and I installed a TAGS mini fbl. I powered the model and noticed the fbl resetting after cycling the servos. I hooked up a Turnigy power meter and it was showing the cyclic servos pulling 18A causing the fbl reset. This was with only the swashplate conected. I know the 610's are current hungry, but this seems way too high. Do I have duff servos or should I ramp up the bec?

The CC 10A BEC is insufficient
- you need to use the CC BEC Pro
- ideal to use the 5.2v setting
- servo will have enough speed and torque
- the BEC will be more stable at that voltage

FYI
I have been using the DS610 for years on kontronik Internal BEC @ 5.6v for years on hard 3D.

FYI,
The CC 10A Bec is only good for 5A with the standard J (servo) connector. You need a bigger connector in order to use all its capability.

And YES, those are very power hungry servos as indicated.

cheers
