Hey guys!! I finally got my hands on a Vcontrol I set it up briefly last night and everything was going very smooth. I proceeded this morning and when I go to plug the model in I get this error. How come? What's causing this?

It tells me "Intl failed" on the screen and tells me to see the log. This is what the log shows... The Neo jumps up and down multiple times with a red flashing light.

Any help is greatly appreciated as always!
Thanks guys!
Jason

I thinks it's the Neo. It won't even connect to the computer now :/ Any ideas? Could it be toast?

i think it is neo. if it is flashing red meanwhile servos jump up and down forever during start up, so, yes, it is neo. please visit a topic on vstabi/vcontrol/cafe. there is a wide discussion on helifreak about this issue too.

I did. It just wanted to have the horizontal calibration done. Once I redid that, all worked just fine.

neo has proven to be a very problematic unit. some guys are having their helis crashed when they hit rescue and the heli goes crazy in the air. many report a blinking red with servos jumping during initialization. even removing rescue from the heli may permanently damage the unit if you twist or crack the case. don't forget to calibrate rescue on the set up menu. if it isn't calibrated, you may have your heli crashed. take a look at: http://www.vstabi.info/en/node/1930

Ok, where did you get this info from? You will not damage the NEO if you downgrade to pro, if you twist the case, ANY FBL unit is subject to damage.
Of course setup is paramount, if not done properly why would you expect it to work correctly?

Neo isn't secured inside the case the same way silverline is. Pulling it off the frame in a non ideal way may loosen things inside, according to a thread I read on vstabi. I never had or read about such a problem with any other fbl unit of a different brand or previous Vbars.
The neo issues I'm talking about have nothing to do with set up. Mikado has acknowledge it on vstabi.

http://www.vstabi.info/forum/read.p...8613#msg-148613 is about the imu sensor and the blinking red light issue. please note Ulrich's reply.
I couldn't find the thread about damaging the unit when pulling it off. I think it is in German. You can place a question on Vstabi, though.
