i have one of the first.....1.1.1 love it ....But!
1. make sure you plug in and update all firmware

2. try and open field to see if finds gps quicker

3. version 1 NAZA is slow, mine can be at times, but in a open field its quick, and stay away from power lines, either above or some people like in Florida don't realize the lines are under ground

4. make sure if you have both switches in forward position

5. also big killer of 1st gen is gps ceramic puck, small crashes ,crack the puck, causeing havoc on initialization, previous owner could have hit hard enough to crack

6. how does you light blink while doing compass dance, and have you done a few times

7. plug into naza assitance and check all settings, , do basic imu calibration, BUT be aware, even if it says does not need advanced...do it, it wont hurt to do, you have to check mod setting, make sure all is good

skip to 3:40 the guy bla blas alot.......but explains good..

people kinda dont want the 1.1.1 or f-40, but check out battery mods, and other mods, the sky is the limit..

i love mine, i got a multistar 5200 battery in mine, gets over 25 minutes, dry, but the best with no mods is the mutistar 4000, i get 20 minutes, dry with no camera gear.....but i got gains up high, and sport fly....

hope this helps.......have fun flying
