VCopter software quirks
When using my VCopter pro/rescue software the display that shows the motor switch setting isn't english. I reloaded to make sure I chose English and it is the same. One setting displays "Aus". Have any of you seen this?

I used my right rear switch for motor with helicopters. The spring portion was off and after going off the motor wouldn't start in idle until I'd switched back to on first. Is there a way to do this in vcopter? I prefer the long rear switch but with the copter going from off to idle makes the motors run.

Thanks for your input!

I don't run vcopter. But, with regards to the right rear switch, I physically switched them on my Vcontrol.

Yes, I prefer to have a long switch in the rear. But, mikado only sells the long switches with momentary. So, now I have the short, 3 position switch to the rear, with the longer momentary swtich to the front. The short switch is set to function just like the long switch of my old JR radio, but abides by Vcontrols mandatory 3 positions: motor off-motor idle-motor run.

Now, my 10+ years of muscle memory on Throttle-hold panic still flips the correct switch (And, I'm working on getting a habit to flip rescue with its sister momentary switch on the left)

Hope that helps.
if it ain't broke, break it.

I may pursue that, not a fan of removing the switches and scratching things up. Did you find it difficult?

It would be really nice *hint hint* if Mikado would offer a long 3 position switch and a way for all of us early adopters to have the cool new vcontrol shells without buying an entirely new radio.

nah..didn't scratch a thing. the case is made to be taken apart to add another battery, adjust spring tensions, etc.

As far as removing the switch, just be careful with the outside retaining nut. I used a pair of smooth mouth pliers so I didn't nick up the surface. It was a 5 minute job beginning to end.
