From what I understand its the parkflyer rx that don"t have much range, I do run a lot of spectrum rx with no problem with the range. But I do not use the park flyier rx. I fly everything from my helis and my large planks with a DX8. Main thing keep sats clear of metal and carbon fiber.

The dx7 is fine so is the ar7000 and the 8000 you should have no problem with range. Spectrum does have some rxs that are park flyer, where they had some problems with range. I have the 8000 on a 30% gas plane with no problems at all. Its always better to run as many sats as you can if you rx has a place for 2 run 2, I think the 8000 has place for one sat, make sure you put sat opposite of each other like the manual states. Don"t worry about you mates fly.
