AH-64D/E search begins
Hi folks I think it's time I tackle this project, been holding off but I think I would like to build one before I retire and no longer have complete access to the real thing. I'm looking for the largest one I can get, I have only flown D/Es so I really have no interest in the A model. Does anyone make something that's accurate in scale and detail these days? I remember Len mount made a nice D but I'm not sure if they are still around.

The Indy fuselages were all "A" models but you know Darrell, if he hasn't yet, there will be a "D/E" model soon enough. the len mount is a "D" but you won't like the way the vertical fin looks. Vario has a nice one but it lacks detail and has a few inacuracies so be ready to do a lot. I am finally getting around to getting some work on my rca 700 size fuselage but progress is still slow. RCA/Roban has a 700 size that looks good but not the big size you are looking for.drive a rotary, fly a rotorcraft

Yeah the Roban has nice detail and it's a 700 size and the detail on it seems accurate. Maybe I should check to see if Indy will make a D model anytime soon.https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCE_rywpdgBAxA8bHVCw3VQQ

the old indy apache A model that Darrell has
has a great scale outline and can be converted to a D model with a few mods
that could be added to the fuse,I plan to do one myself after i complete my 1/4 scale Kiowa, Darrel is probably waiting for me to make the molds as he does not have the time
