450 tail is very tricky because the geometry (any from 450pro to 450L), which tail servo are you using and how far is ball on servo am from center? I hate to recommend but most tail issues on 450 get solved but using mks 9780 servo and increasing your resolution by moving the ball link closer to center. Also one cool thing with 750 you actual can move the neutral point on the tail servo to get a better geometry and get a mechanical offset to get 3-4 deg on tail.

On my 450L (non cgy, i lost my cgy version =() i have 70% gain rock-sold tail.

I am using the Futaba 9650 servo have the ball in the hole closest to the servo If I go up to 50% on the gain it wags in a hover. I have done the fix for the tail by making it a leading edge control to get the offset I have the tail holding good in rate mode.Synergy E7 AMA member Team Old Farts citizen 401 www.trickycopterrc.blogspot.com

V2.0? Try Rudder Expert, Control Delay Out if you are in 3D mode. If you run F3C mode, you can also play with Stop Delay (Rudder Expert).

Otherwise make sure the tail mechanism is smooth and the servo is in good order.

Disclaimer, I still run 1.31 and 1.4.

I would say Futaba 9650 is too slow for a tail. Dont get me wrong I have used in the past with a 450v2.

SPEED: 0.14 sec/60° @ 4.8V
0.11 sec/60° @ 6.0V

you should get something around .06 or lower. Also which 450 do you have. There really is not much choice from futaba for mini size servos Futaba bls257 is there best (or you can use Futaba s9257) but its more the mks 9780 so its pointless.

Operating Speed (6V) 0.055s
Operating Speed (7.4V) 0.045s
Operating Speed (8.4V) 0.040

That's why I'm not a fan of upgrades.

1.4 was not mention when I was replaying. Also working or not, that all depends what you are doing. .11 tail servo is very slow for tail and my recommendation is not incorrect ,I have not seen one used on 450 since very long time. How every don is right you can mess with stop delays , also if still in 2.0 tail boost.
