Align 550e FBL
I have never flown an electric helicopter or any helicopter with a FBL system. I am currently flying a FB TT Raptor Titan SE. Is there any one out there who has transitioned from FB nitro to FBL electric? Any help would be appreciated.

I flew electric FB helis for a while.

The FBL technology now is outstanding.

No longer any "slop" between the flybar and the main blade grips.

So the collective/cyclic setup is more precise.

In addition, they now have "turnbuckle" links for the swash....so that one can precisely "dial in" the adjustments given your particular servos/servo arm length.

You just have to get oriented with the FBL controller menu programming.

You will need to learn in two key areas.
1)Flight batteries and charging equipment/requirements.
2)FBL controller set-up and flight reaction; especially during take-off and landing.
Do some searching and reading on these points. I am sure others will hop in here and help you fill in the blanks.
Have fun,the experience will open new areas and interest in the hobby for you!

I have both helis. My Titan has been on a shelf since my first Trex 550. I have a large variety of helis and the Trex 550 is my favorite "larger size" heli. I have multiple 600 nitros, 600 electrics and 4 550 electrics. The Trex 550 is my favorite. Cheap to fix and flies just as good as the others when it has a good setup.
