Telemetry Problems: DX9, AirWare 1.10 and TM1000
I upgraded my DX9 to the 1.10 AirWare and also the matching sound file.

Now, my TM1000 telemetry is FUBAR - not dead, but FUBAR.

I have three heli using the TM1000.
I monitor external voltage, internal voltage, temperature (head temp or motor temp) and RPM (from the external sensor)

This is the first time flying since the upgrade and I checked all three heli - and they all have the same "failure"

The receiver voltage and the RPM are ok - they still read out on the DX90 screen and the alarms function.

The readings for temp and external voltage on the DX9 screen are dashes (like no input)

When I check the "telemetry" screen, the temperature display was "INH" and the minimum temperature alarm value was set to 1000 (one thousand!) and the maximum temperature alarm was set to 1500 (one thousand fine hundred !).

The different values in the voltage screen were all blank (---). The "Cell Count" was "---S LiPo" and the min / max voltages was "---".

On my electric, in addition to the external voltage and the temperature, I use a JLoger 26. The JLoger uses the TM1000's XBus.
The JLoger data is not being displayed on the DX9.

I tried to rebind and there is no change.

I've tried to change the settings in the Telemetry screen on the DX9 and it still does not display the temp or the ext voltage.

It is like the center connector (ext voltage and temp) and the XBus data on the TM1000 is dead.

But, I didn't update the TM1000 (is that even possible?).

What now?

Can I go back to 1.07 (I have a copy on the PC)?

Remove the devices in your Telemetry menu and then repopulate them using Auto Config. Reset alarms.

Yep - that did the trick.
I guess I missed that in the release notes.

There is a link on RR for the 1.07 to 1.08 upgrade and various issues (including the TM1000 telemetry problems) that were introduced with the 1.08 code.

My upgrade was from 1.07 to 1.10, so I think there were some big changes internally between the 1.07 and newer.
And, I got tripped up by them

On my setup, this is what I ended up doing:
Power on both the TM1000, receiver and the DX9.
Scroll the DX9 to 'Telemetry'
Select all the sensors that are displayed (volts, RPM, Temp - etc.) and set them back to <Empty>.

You cannot set the 11. RxV or the 12. Flight Log to <Empty>. Maybe these are hard coded to that channel

Select the <settings> and click on 'auto-config'
The auto-config will run for about 30 seconds.
All the sensors should now be displayed.

I found that they were shuffled a little.
On my nitro helis, the senors changed:
1. Volts => RPM
2. RPM => Volt
3. Temp => Temp
11 & 12 stayed the same

On my E heli, I use a Jloger 2.6. It got really wild:
1. Volts => GForce
2. RPM => AMPS
3. Temp => PowerBox
4. AMPS => RPM
5. PowerBox => Volts
6. GForce => Temp
However, everything is displayed properly

All the trip points and calculations need to be re-entered and re-enabled.

Bob's your uncle

Thank you for posting this! I did the telem reset and auto config you suggested but my DX9 still can't get temp right.

Had "No Data" until the reset and now says it's -21 degrees fahrenheit so it's off by about 110 degrees. lol

Just doing volts and temp.

Post config
1. Volts
2. RPM (I corrected to temp and gives the false reading)

Any new suggestions?
