Bringing the question back on top...

Spec?

Well, check all appliances You are going to need to Fly your Helis...

Coffee maker, toaster, fans or blowers , chargers, Gun soldering , TV and all other gadget You may need... Be carefull with wife 's spec also...

Then, according to all this power requeriments, choose generator and extension cords.

With a lot of noise and heavy... Diesel
Without noise... Gas
Pull starter... No way!

Complicated?
Maybe...

Saludos cordiales,

I've had my Ryobi 2200 for 3 years now. Give me back my money and I'd buy another one. Our club has several of them.

https://rc.runryder.com/t775618p1/

I've been able to run a 25 sqft refregerator with it. Also tested starting a 10" table saw, really grunted on that but did start it. Max systained pull I've got out of it was about 1700 watts as measured with my kill-a-watt. Hair dryer and space heater load probably not as clean as a good charger power supply though ;-)

Field charging, usually doens't get much above idle. Even charging at 25-30A on two 6S packs isn't much of a load for this.

Gas mileage - a gallon of gas can last all day at thei field.

One issue several of us have had, it could start surging at idle. Change the spark plug has fixed that for a few of us.

I bought a green hour meter - super glad I did. I would 100% recommend this for any generator you buy so you know how many hrs you have on the machine

I use STA-BIL Marine formula every time I fill the can for all my power equipment, both 2 and 4 stroke. Nearly all the idling issues I have seen have been caused by carburetor issues due to Ethanol blended fuels.

That's great if you have access to Ethanol free fuel. The last time I checked the closest Ethanol free fuel station was 70 miles from me. Even Ethanol free fuel will still to stale after prolong storage so I'd still use STA-BIL even I was using it.

I just checked again since it's been a while.

Same one is still the closest at 70 miles away.
