Wow....

Corps leaving america. Illegal aliens taking jobs. Now an american icon importing workers from foreign outsourcing companies at half the salary of experienced american IT people. I'll bet Disney CEO Robert Iger is not going to import a foreigner to replace himself. BTW Iger got 44 million bucks in a compensation package last year. It's all good, right?

Leo Porrero in Dils video above, and another former Disney IT worker filed a class action lawsuit, and now Disney put the brakes on importing more foreigners.

Laid off Disney worker endorses Trump, SLAMS Rubio
One of the workers Disney laid off and forced to train his foreign replacement endorsed Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump Friday, and bashed his rival Republican Sen. Marco Rubio, saying he “betrayed American workers.”

“No American citizen should ever have to suffer this indignity,” Leo Perrero said in a statement Friday, referring to being laid off and forced to train a foreign replacement. He and one of the other workers Disney laid off will officially endorse Trump at a rally in Alabama Sunday, reported the Tampa Bay Times.

“I am endorsing Donald Trump because I believe he will stand up to the all powerful corporations that spend millions each month in Washington DC in an attempt to influence our lawmakers,” he said in the statement. “I have faith that Trump will take immediate action to ensure no American professional ever again has to train his or her foreign replacement worker.”

Perrero also slammed Rubio, saying he “betrayed” American workers by pushing a bill known as I-Squared that would triple the number of foreign workers businesses can hire on H-1b visas, which is what many of the workers who replaced Perrero and his IT colleagues held.

“Marco Rubio was nowhere to be found,” Perrero said in the statement, after pointing out only the other Florida senator, Bill Nelson, offered assistance when he asked for help following the layoff. “Instead, he was pushing a corporate-backed plan to triple the number of foreign guest workers replacing American workers in technology fields while hundreds of former Disney IT workers were lining up in the unemployment line.”

“Under Rubio’s plan, thousands more Floridians will experience the same fate as us,” he continued. “Marco Rubio has betrayed American workers.”

Rubio had his chance to step up and champion the American worker, but instead he choose to increase the H-1b visas.

Donald Trump is a large corporation and he does the same thing in his business.

This sounds just like the rhetoric we heard about Odumbo and his "Hope and Change"

BTW your employer cannot force you to train your replacement unless you don't have 2 feet to walk away with.

No, they can't force you.

But, they can tell you they will deny any severance pay if you do not comply. That's legal. It's immoral. No doubt about it. But still legal. That's what Disney did.

I'll bet that severance pay is large enough to make it worth while because if you do walk you are voluntarily leaving which would disqualify you for unemployment.

According to congressional testimony, those people were told that if they walk and do not train their replacements they would be denied severance pay at the end of 90 days.

Of course if they did walk then that would be voluntary unemployment and they would be denied unemployment benefits.

What law can fix out sourcing?

To me, only a boycott will work to stop outsourcing. And no one stands up for principles.

It's insane. No one sees the train coming until it's already hitting us. People been trying to say for decades that outsourcing kills our country. No one cares until the issue is out of control. It's irritating as all hell. People should bury these corporations for what they do to our nation's domestic economy and stability. But they just keep going back to the hand that is beating them.

It's called tariffs.

You simply add a tax (tariff) on products coming from over seas to even the playing field and start trading goods both ways instead of just one way. Both China and Japan do that to us. Both have made it impossible for us to sell our products in their countries through tariffs and import regulations. But, they freely sell their products to us at no additional cost to them.

Then, of course we have become the highest corporate taxed country in the world. That drives more companies to manufacture overseas with cheap manufacturing, cheap labor and cheap local taxation.

If we start threatening to tariff goods coming into our country or other countries start buying our products we could either lower dramatically or even eliminate out trade deficits which draw billions upon billions out of our country and hurts us even worse.

There is a risk of a trade war which could drive up prices. But, we have to start somewhere before these other countries bleed us dry and our economy collapses due to lack of jobs and huge trade deficits.

It's getting very serious. It could come down to a matter of survival.

Liberty once lost, is lost forever.

The company I work for moved heavy manufacturing to Mexico and actually saw the price of manufacturing GO UP and when the oil prices fell manufacturing dropped off and the price went up even further.

If you are working, YOU WILL.
