Watching last night on BLOOMBERG business news and FAA has issued new rules for MICRO DRONES. WTF is a micro drone?
Looks like they have a regulation bone in their teeth and they aren't going away until CONGRESS cuts their money artery.

We have a local commercial aviation aviation expert that is on the radio a couple times a week and he is reporting that the FAA is really scrambling to catch up with the drones. Duh. The FAA has asked industry leaders in drone technology about whether they can relax some of the drone rules and allow drones to fly closer to people not associated with the drone. This conversation appears focused on commercial drone operations. He was saying there are thousands of commercial drone permit requests already in the FAA's hands and that in the next 5 years we'll begin to see hundreds of these stupid things flying all over the place. Package delivery and real estate are the primary pushers right now.

If you have not figured it out... The FAA sees the drone craze as a new source of income... and they will be giving congress some of the loot in return for "favorable" legislation..

As long as there is money to be taken from civilians and businesses alike...They are NOT going away

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

So if a "micro drone" is a drone that is not capable of hurting people, why must it be regulated?
