Just a heads up for anyone looking for a gas conversion, Trex 600-700 size.

The Trex 600 gas conversion looks interesting. I used to have a G-20 & G-30 both were of not good quality. And the conversions use a lot of the parts from the Radikal. Anyone that has one would you recommend the gas conversions.

Carey, that's the one I bought. Two in fact, one to build and one for parts back-up.

Man that's pretty cheap
Where are they moving to? I went and saw their store front when I was in California back in September, to be honest was expecting something more, this wasn't a big place only 1/2 of a warehouse shared with another company. Here is a pic I took:

moving sale or moving away sale?

the G20 kit was like $150...

thats the cost of a set of main + tail blades...

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

So if I wanted to convert my Trex 700 dfc to gas this would be a good investment?

I don't think the DFC will fit due to the frame spacing

if somebody has made it work I'm sure they will chime in

Doesn't slip
But has a shorter life span than other options. My first one lasted 103 flights, on the 2nd liner now will see what happens.

Raja, and to replace the liner where did you get the material? Or is it the whole bell? The lynx clutch looks like it grabs and holds at a lower rpm cuz it looks like it has a greater arm, plus its lighter? Just my opinion im not too sure.

Its a trex bell and liner
The blue ones, you just need to peel out/dremel out the rest of the old one carefully and glue in the new one with JB weld.

When you first put in the new one it grabs at idle, but I let it be as that means more flights for me before it wears in, instead of pre-wearing it in and losing about 30 flights. The new one I got is still not completely wore in yet (rotors still turn slowly at idle).

Thanks for the FYI about the whiplash, I already have one plus the Spectra, the 1005, and the Raptor, enough for now But someone should buy it, as MA is back and they are shipping parts, I got another order from them recently
