450L tail shudder
just updated the 750 to 2.0, was flying on a trex550 with 1.31 with no issues. Moved it to a new 450L on 6s, the head feels rock solid with gain at 50%. The tail in a hover has a slight shudder with or with out any stick inputs. It will hover just fine for a bit then shudder for a second and return to normal, then do it again. It happens more with stick inputs, i have messed with the tail delay in and out but cant seem to work it out. Had the cross shapped servo horn on the tail with the ball on the first hole out from center at first. I could only get the gain to 20% and throws were at 50% or below. Changed the horn to the futaba star on the first hole out and got the throws in the 90s and gain at 44%. The servo is the DS525M the 750 is in 3D.

The tail gyro part of the firmware (piro comp changed A LOT) has not changed from 1.31 through 2.0, so if the tail is acting up, the first thing I would do is reflash the firmware just to be sure you got a clean flash. After that, go looking in the model for any kind of vibration because the gyro is likely responding to something it's "seeing".

No, bit if it's that's what is vibrating, it'll drive the gyro absolutely nuts. Assurance will probably make it right.

I spool it up to speed and get a vibration. Took all other running gear out of the loop and even the pinion off. Vibrates so bad the swash links jump all over on the frame.

If you remember who you talked to I would like to get their name. I spoke with Willy, who swore up and down that there was nothing wrong with the motor. He also said that he installed in in his heli and it flew just fine.

Alright, I worked out the motor issue, turned out to be the Align ESC. The heli still has the shudder, it will hover smoothly then shudder for a second or two then return to normal, then it repeats. Any suggestions?
