I got to maiden today, both the 806 and my new charger setup 8) The 806 is awesome, what else can I say. Smooth, quiet, gobs of power, even at a mere 1750 head speed. I had my timer set at 5 min and I came down with 3.7 to 3.8 in the packs. Efficient setup. I also recently switched to an Icharger 4010DUO and a new 3000 watt, 50 volt power supply. WOW, I came from 2 thunder power 820's and this thing walks all over them combined. I was charging 7s, 5k packs from that same 3.7 to full in under 12 mins

Whoa! Matt hit a home run on the 766. Those are really nice helis. What is the purpose of the two piece canopy as opposed to one large canopy?

A one piece would be huge. This is easier to maneuver and in event of a crash you might save part. It's sold in pieces. Team Synergy, Team FBL Rotors-------if its not broke...it will be!

Gotcha. I thought it had something to do with an easier battery change. Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately, no! I dont get to do many big events a year due to my farm schedule. When I am taking my vacations its snowing and no one is flying! The rest of the year is pretty tight. I had another chance to get some flying in yesterday, my timer is set at 5 mins, and I was using 3500 to 3600 mah out of the packs. This is at 1750 head speed and 14 degrees of pitch. I am now flying 6 minsTeam Synergy, Team FBL Rotors-------if its not broke...it will be!

Impressive

What are the dimensions on those TP 5000mA packs? I just switched from TP Magna 14S 4400s back to the Gens Ace 12S 5000 stick, but it seems that it is too large for the 766

Has anyone tried the Pulse 12S lipo stick? Aren't Gens Ace and Pulse the same lipo under a different brand? Looks like I might have to try two 6S packs instead.

The packs are approx 46mm wide and 60 tall. They are installed on the tray so the label is facing up. What problems are you having? Width?Team Synergy, Team FBL Rotors-------if its not broke...it will be!

Unfortunately the lipo sticks do not seem to fit either way. They catch on the landing gear mount with the stickers facing up, and they just about squeeze between the frames with the stickers facing sideways (but no space for any straps).

The height of the pack is 63mm. I checked out the Pulse stick (45C and 65C) and the dimensions are fine. I guess I must have a special Gens Ace 12S stick. No idea where I got it from.

** Just checked the latest Gens Ace 65C stick and it seems that the dimensions are correct.

My buddy's are 45c. Here are the specs on the 65c Pulse. they should fit no problem.

Dimensions: 332±2mm x 53±2mm x 48±1.5mm (LxWxH)

Do you have the specs on those Gens Ace?

It is the Gens Ace 12S 5000mAh 50C stick (ACE50-5000-0601 x 2).

272 x 46 x 63

These are the same dimensions as the newer 60C stick (according to Progressive RC).

It seems that Gens Ace USA has a newer 60C stick (longer and less height) 325 x 52.5 x 55
