Another Machine Upgraded to DMSS!
First generation Goblin 700 upgraded to JR DMSS/28X, KBDD EE Main Rotor Blades. WR Hercules BEC. Existing V-Bar now using X-Bus. Finally has battery trays (HeliOption).

Did the test flight this morning! No surprises, very smooth and steady, a bit quicker on the cyclics with the upgraded main blades (than with the previous two brands I tried). A nice, smooth cruising machine!

ALWAYS!

You can see the Western Robotics Hercules Super BEC in the photo above. It is attached to the left side frame above the left, rear strut.

The BEC is connected to one of the two, 6S, 5300mah batteries.

On my newer 700's (and my 880) I have been using the Hercules Super Pro BEC, as it has a bus to power the servos directly.

Thank you.

This one is quite elderly for a Goblin.

Still flies nice. Still retains the original head.

At some point, I may upgrade the links to the flexible ones from the Chronos, but for the time being I will fly it as is.

Oldie but goodie
No doubt it is a smooth flier especially with the new DMSS.
See your using XBus on it... as good as it feels now, that makes it even better..
I am starting to use it in all types, and loving that one wire to the rx!!
