I have been looking for the same thing.
I am turning my Roban air med 429 into a real medical interior. made a medical cabinet already to install between the two forward seats and leaving one seat in the rear with the gurney. also ordering a monitor screen which will display medical data.

When I was an EMT (up to about 5 years ago), medevacs that I encountered used the same stretchers we used on the ground ambulances. Just do a Google image search for Stryker Performance Pro Stretcher.

gurney
A gurney is only used for getting the patients, stretcher / bed to the aircraft. On the 407 both left doors open up, slide feet first near the pilot. Head of patient ends up where the rear facing seat would go. Same goes for the bell 222 u.t. .

Very good point... It certainly depends on the type of helicopter... Where I worked we dealt with stretchers that loaded from the rear.

Hi Weldon,
Thanks for the info.

I have the Bell 429 and the gurney/stretcher goes in like a BK117.

Robsn put a full bulkhead behind the rear seats so not sure how I will do it yet.

Shreksbrother, thanks for the info. Google is our friend 😎

Hi,

If you are on Facebook then check out the Life Flight Kuwait page. They operate 3 Bell 429's and 2 430's All in the medevac role.

They have some excellent pics in their gallery which should help you out nicely.

I am sure they would oblige re any photo requests if you ask them nicely.

You might also try Air Methods. They are one of the largest medevac companies around flying contracts all over the country fixed and rotary. They also do the medical interior modifications so likely have a large cache of photos for reference.

+1 on the Kuwait page.

looked at the pics and it definitely doesn't look like it did last time I was there during the Gulf war. Happy to see it rebuilt so beautiful.
