When charging a battery you can choose 1-40A or 1C,2C,3C with PowerLab series.

Does GT500 can choose 1C,2C,3C ?

thanks!

I looked at the manual and it looks like the feature you request is not available on the GT500 ..... However , you can easily figure out the 1C, 2C , 3C, etc. rates of the battery you are charging and manually enter the charge rate .....

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

I know how to figure out the 1C, 2C , 3C, etc.rates. I just feel that very convenient even not much accurate.

No problem . One of the nice features I see with that charger is that you can create and save a bunch of "presets" and then call them up as needed .

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

It's a really nice charger. I got to play with one about 10 months ago. I really like the jog dial as it makes it super fast to navigate through the menus. They have a Duo version out now too.

Ace,after your saying.
I decide to wait GT500DUO appear in China.
Few month ago I have a second-hand PL6. I download the manual from Revolectrix. Reading the manual, it's hard for me to understand, cause my bad English. Don't know what does INC & DEC mean. Few days ago, suddenly I realize INC & DEC mean increase & decrease. Then I feel PL6 is the best charger I ever use! But I think 40A is too high for one battery even a 6S5000mAh for 700 heli, I don't like charging batteries in parallel. So I think GT500DUO is the best choice for me。

I'm not a big fan of parallel charging myself and DUO chargers are great since you can charge two packs simultaneously without parallel charging.

The DUO is sweet. Here's the information on the DUO:
