Cruz wins most of the delegates with Trump winning the second highest.

Odd the polls were giving a different picture.

Could have the Democrats affected the GOP Caucus?
IOWA GOP LEADER: THOUSANDS of Democrats, Independents have CHANGED PARTY to Vote in GOP Caucus

Jeff Kaufmann, Iowa Republican Party Chairman, told FOX News this morning that HUNDREDS of Democrats and Independents in Iowa have changed their party to Republican over the last several weeks to participate in the Iowa GOP caucus.

Jeff Kaufmann: When I talk about intensity, I’m talking about, we’re now getting about 100 phone calls and hour into RPI (Republican Party of Iowa)… To put that into perspective, we get usually 5 or 6 an hour normally. This is beyond the pale… A lot of Democrats and Independents are asking about changing their vote to Republican. The Secretary of State’s report last week indicated over 3,000 people have done that already. I think we’re going to see a little bit of a surge that way.

My question: were they coming to support Trump or to vote against Trump?

If they were there to just lower Trumps chances, then they will probably not vote for Cruz in the election.

Ah, that's why Trump didn't blow them all away. The cross voters block voted for Rubio to lower Trump's overall percentage. The repube establishment is probably jumping up and down with glee. Welcome to the world of dirty politics. It shows how afraid they all are of a guy who can't be bought.

Trump got his @ss handed to him for letting his head get to big. It is a good thing, as being humbled can go a long ways sometimes.

I hope he learned his lesson. Time will tell.

From your link:
Trump accused the Cruz campaign of misleading caucus-goers by circulating a false election-night rumor implying that retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson was planning to drop out of the race.
True...this is called playing politics. Welcome to politics Trump. It's a nasty world.
The Cruz campaign issued an apology to Carson on Tuesday, saying it should have clarified that Carson was, in fact, continuing his bid for the Republican nomination.
True...again the world of politics.
And finally, Cruz strongly told thousands of caucusgoers (voters) that Trump was strongly in favor of ObamaCare and “choice” - a total lie!
Hehehe...the world of politics strikes again.
“Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified,” Trump tweeted.
I think Trump is saying something outrageous knowing nothing will be done. But he is using this to slam the character of Cruz.

The Iowa caucus is notoriously unpredictable. You can't judge a POTUS candidate as not having any chance by what happens in Iowa. Look at the DNC rules of assigning delegates to a candidate by using a game of chance, a coin flip. Then look at the liberal voters contacting the Iowa RNC, asking if they can change their vote after the fact. Trump had a respectable 2nd place finish in Iowa. Cruz only had 4% more votes, and only 1 delegate more than Trump.

I am letting the two caucuses and the two primaries run their course in february. In march, we will have a better idea of what Trumps' chance is for POTUS. Maybe we will hear what the DOJ will do with Broom Hilda too.

Don't worry, be happy till then. The US is screwed up and full of non thinkers.
