Yesterday here in Granbury, January 31, low 70s, 11 mph wind, not a cloud to be seen -- man what a great flying day.

My buddy and I flew all the packs we had available. Between my Logo 690 and my Trex 700, I got in 7 full flights, nary a hiccup to be had.

It was just a perfect day to get out and have some fun.

Saturday was just a little windier in the Houston area but still a gorgeous day to fly. Got in ten flights Saturday afternoon.

as clean and beautiful as Vt is I have come to hate the cold, snow and ice, I had my fun in the cold the first 30 years of my life, but the wife wont leave Vt, she says the summers are too hot in the south, and the snakes and bugs, she says "no way",,

Texas is one place I would like to spend time in, maybe see Billy Gibbons

My buddy and I made it out Saturday as well. 42 degrees with 0-5 mph winds, and mostly cloudy. I was an almost perfect day for us in the Midwest. I managed 6 flights on a new motor and Mark did 2.

Very unusual weather for us, which makes me wonder what this summer will be like!

Saturday was an amazing day in Alvin, a small town just south of Houston. Had an early morning breakfast with a friend and then violated the skies with our helis all morning long. The winds were steady and perfect for autos.
