I'm running the Hyperion 2S 6.6V 2080mAh LiFE pack (T14SGH), this can be charged with the stock charger (15 hours to charge though) but somewhere (here) I ran across a thread stating that it is best to discharge down-to ~ 2.5V / cell and then start your recharge cycle.

I have done this and the main-screen voltage was shown as 7.2V briefly, then, it will drop-down to 6.7V and stays there for hours-on-end (a few weeks without charging).

I will mention that it is "best" to get a pack that has a balance-tap lead (whether using lipo or LiFE) as I notice that (1) cell normally has more voltage-use than the other.

Interesting
I thought these batts have to be charged with chargers that have Life chemistry programs..I have a protec rc 3s in my Jr radio 2300 mah; it charges in about an hr.; with my Thunder power charger; I've been charging to 95% since I got it about 6 months ago..but was wondering if 100% would be good or bad on it.

Not "ALL" LiFE type packs can utilize the stock wal-wart type charging, the Hyperion is only one-of these types and this is stated in the spec.'s.

It is not relevant.

Tx is a low power consumption device so no problem if You want 95 - 100% on TCS. ( terminal capacity selection )

Other matter is the criteria on driving electric motor...
