Hey guys, I have a 500L dominator I had a small wreck 2 days ago. I had to replace the blades, a ball link connector, main shaft and feathering shaft and the rear torque tube gears. I set the pitch to 12 degrees at full stick. when I spool up and down it shakes so violently it almost tips. what do I trouble shoot nest???

Something is bent. Spool up without blades on bench to find what.

Inspect Tail rotor shaft.

Inspect all grips.

Main hub that hold grips can also be damaged. Make sure it has no play.

Check your pitch at 50% stick on BOTH blades..... if one is way off that will provide a clue....

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

I did that and the wobble is completely gone. I'm gonna try balancing the blades and make sure the pitch is set perfect

So are you saying that the pitch on one of the blades was off from the other ? And setting them both the same fixed it ?

If so, I'm glad you found the issue....

I'm, still trying to figure out this ar7300bx but I kinda tweaked it alittle and it doesn't shake anymore, but I cant figure out how to perfectly set pitch. The guys at the hobby shop said I have replaced everything that could be the problem except for the blade grips and the head hub. I didn't know you had to reset the AR7300bx and reset that up.

ok so finally I fixed it. I had to resetup the AR7300bx. Its fine now except that the tail is SUPER sensitive and if you try to center it it over corrects and spins the opposite. What do I set to fix that? BTW I really appreciate ya'lls feedback and tips. I have never had a bigger heli so all this is new for me.

Check the tail shaft to see that it's not bent. The pitch slider might be sticking and causing your tail issues and blowout.

BTW
Also check the teeth of the front drive gear (sits between auto and front TT umbrella gear). Make sure all the tail mechanism is smooth and Loctite is not jamming anything

Its finally fixed. I had the tail sensor direction on normal and it needed to be reversed. Finally after 2 days and around 150 dollars its right again. I can't wait until the weather breaks here so I can fly!!!!
