Can you use training gear after completing Gpro setup/parameters or will it interfere with Gpro performance when hovering?
Gpro requires throttle & pitch range set to straight diagonal line. Can you change throttle & pitch curves after completing setup/parameters on the transmitter?

Make sure heli CoG is correct and training gear is secured. Anything loose will create vibrations.

Linear graph is for setup.

Yes you can change throtle and pitch to your liking as well as dual rate and expo after completing setup.

Has anyone used training gear with an FBL?

Seems you would want to "use" the training gear little as possible. If the heli is dancing about on the training gear and you happen to give some cyclic input the gear could cause it to "over-react".

We made up some rules can we have your moneys now.

Also consider using the next size up landing gear instead for a wider stance.

Reason asked about training gear with FBL is because after fourth attempt with Gpro setup/parameter and broken blades willing to try anything that may help.

First question regarding fourth attempt and crashing...

Is this your first ever helicopter and your first ever attempts to fly one?

IF so, keep in mind that a FBL controller is NOT a stabilization/auto pilot. You still have to know how to fly the helicopter. If you need training gear, use them. Also, use a SIM program as much as you can.

Are you certain your system is set up correctly to begin with? Incorrect setup can lead to weird behavior and having to buy parts.

Training gear don't have to be large, bulky, or add a lot of mass to the heli.

Two fiberglass arrow shafts, four golf ball wiffle balls, some epoxy, thread, and cable ties. Voila. Held onto the skids with even more cable ties.

No this is first Trex 500 FB trying to converted to FBL. Blade 400,Swift RTF (upgraded)Swift NX and now this Trex was all FB. Five yrs flying with some casual aerobatics. Dx6i Tx.
Watch the Gpro setup video's also printed instruction manual and four attempts got weird behavior and now waiting for parts but haven't given up or changed trex back to FB.

Haven't been able to get it past four feet high. Third & fourth time it just flipped over to the right destroying blades etc. Will start all over when parts arrive. Collective Trim(0) deg on setup menu. Tx should be placed at mid stick using pitch gauge and adjusting interface to get 0 deg. if I am correct?
