I'm going to make a label and put it on my batteries. This should suffice for any/all aircraft per the requirement that it be visible externally or by the easily accessible battery compartment. Their requirement says you have to put it in a place that doesn't require tools to get to a.k.a. battery compartment. That works for my airplanes, heli's and MR's.

Q49. How do I mark my unmanned aircraft with the unique registration number?
A. You may use any method to affix the number, such as permanent marker, label, engraving, or other means, as long as the number is readily accessible and maintained in a condition that is readable and legible upon close visual inspection. If your unmanned aircraft has an easily accessible battery compartment you may affix the number in that compartment.

Does this mean I can fly a real airplane now that I am a registered pilot? As long as it under 400 ft right?

I think that I read somewhere that it is illegal(fraud) to use someone elses aircraft registration code. So while I am not going to publish them on my aircraft, I am not too worried if a friend knows my registration code.

I would not make a video and post it to the internet, than is for sure.

registration # don't mean anything if you don't have a registration card to back it up. Anyone is welcome to copy my cars license plate numbers along with my boat registration and now this FAA thing, good luck with that lol.
