everyone's seen the litany of odd hover bike mr ideas and hover this and hover that, H_O_V_E_R (pronounced HUH_VER) platforms floating around in youtube over the recent past for a coupe of years or so. Don't know where the new one comes from or seen anything yet but when you think about all the oddball multi rotor projects out there it probably makes you want to take up and/or stick with HELICOPTERS. A helicopter is a helicopter is a helicopter, not some freakziod of rotor wash, it's great.

and a wild idea/concept, why the rider sticks to a highway one may wonder

all in all no one has succeeded yet in bringing a human lifting multi to the marketplace, limited to uas drone fpv/surveillance type applications.

There's a certain Batman toy i envision modeling to some effect which would be very interesting and based on heli tech rather than the four fp fan thing, though the guys model with a GI Joe on it was the best concept in the vids shown. Something's going to work after all the schtuff pours out of kids brains and has some financial backing to make ideas reality, interesting fun times, kids in men's bodies or the young at heart, brave in spirit, bold in living.

Human Lifting Copters
After all the noise I've heard about new regs for "DRONES" Now this? The first thing the FAA will do is post up a ton of new regs.
Federal air regulations part 103 concerning aircraft over 264 lbs
says they must be registered and flown under the guidelines of FAA
regs.
264 lbs doesn't sound like a hard number to hit until you remember you're going to be toting around a ton of batteries if you want any kind of flight time. Until batteries become a lot lighter Drones are on a road to NOWHERE!

When you fly JUNK it's hard to tell when you've crashed!
