IC ... Your tail is doing a big smile.

Check the following:
- rudder control rod for binding at the guide and worn spot on cf rudder control rod (didn't get a response on that)
- use the servo horn hole closest to center while get full travel
- binding of pitch slider and linkages to tail blade grip
- tail shaft if it's bent or metal is pitted and pitch slider is sticking
- check pitched slider & mechanism to see if links are binding because of too much Loctite
- before going into the P I D settings of the tail Gyro, establish the main tail gain first. I would suggest a 50 on the tail slider for trouble shooting purposes.
- if the oscillation is less then what is currently now, don't be afraid to go lower until it goes away
- then fly and test at the tail gain level to see if tail holds
- make sure you assign the tail gain to a channel in the V bar software

Hope this helps

I've found loctite in the bushings of my T/R pitch change links thus causing binding in the T/R control system ... just a page out of my book..I dream of a better world, A world where a chicken's crossing a road IS NOT questioned

bent tail hub, slide the hub assembly off while allowing the blades to go flat, turn the hub. If it's bent the blades will sway like they do with a bent feathering shaft. isn't that a one piece hub or is it with grommets like a feathering shaft? if it's a single feathering shaft like apparatus on the tail take a blade off one side and turn the retaining screw, do the same for the other side, if the blades move back and forth the shaft is bent.

Check the main shaft and rotor hub to see if they are bent.

Remove the them and roll it around on a piece of glass to check.

Just a thought....have you tried to redo the VBar setup? I had this happen on my G630 when I installed the NEO. After installing the NEO I test flew it at my field and got a bad head and tail oscillation and we couldn't get the blades to track. Increasing headspeed did not work; neither did increasing and decreasing the gains. I found nothing mechanically wrong. I redid the NEO setup as if it was a new heli and that fixed it.Fail to Plan.....Plan to Fail
