I like the flight plan idea. I'd love to have one of these! I'll wait for Hobby King to copy it so I can get the best price!

A kit for this would be awesome! Build it at home in the garage, register it with the FAA and cruise!

Could you imagine the carnage with thousands of those things buzzing around NYC? I think I'll ride my bike instead.

until they can effectively negate the effects of gravity...my butts staying on the ground...

that thing has no backup, redundancy or parachute....not to mention the ginormous fire from those power packs should you crash or have a failure during charging.

Could you imagine the carnage with thousands of those things buzzing around NYC?
can you imagine the new age of drive-bys (straffing) in DC, Chicago and Houston?...

They keep saying "Designed for safety" but showing images of frames falling apart, wobbbly test craft falling out of the sky.

It would be fun to make my own computer illustrations. A bird strike would make for a spectacular off axis spinning smash into the side of a building, a lithium powered fireball....

If you are over 5'2" and weigh more than 145lbs, you probably wouldn't fit anyways. Looks like a pretty tight squeeze to get through the door and into the seat.

I would love to see someone like Duane Johnson try and squish into one of them things.

I can see those type vehicles becoming the future.
Imagine going to work and have it fly back home to pick up the kids for school or wait for you and charge.

somebody make a full scale stingray, Then at least you have a chance to auto rotate.

Yep....

I might feel safer in one of these if they stayed below 15ft. I don't think they would fair well in a crash from 50-100ft+. In the video I see one of those things flying over mountainous terrain. That's some scary stuff...no thank you.

Rough air, bad weather, mechanical failure, even a flock of birds could potentially bring that thing down in a hurry. No blade cages, no glide potential, and no auto rotation capacity...eek...I will walk.

15' high or 150' doesn't matter in a frame that small. When it piles in at 60mph someone will be collecting life insurance. And think of how many obstacles are at 15'. No thanks. It'll be interesting to see how long before the first crash. This will make hoverboards look safe.
