Tone down my 300 cfx
I just got a new blade 300 cfx. I followed the manual for setting it up on my dx6i. Is there any way to tone it down more for just basic hovering and beginner traing,it is alittle to touchy for me the way it is now. Any settings help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

For bank 0 use:
aile-75% w/ between 25% and 30% expo
elev-75% w/ between 25% and 30% expo

These settings will soften the cyclic down a lot. The expo can be varied depending on how soft you want the heli to feel. Less expo for a "sharper" feel and more expo for a "softer" feel.

rudd- I recommend between 80%-85% w/ about 15% expo.

I found this setup to calm the tail quite a bit for little movements while still allowing you to make large corrections if you need to.

If you have any experience with programming a flybarless unit then you can change the flight characteristics through the parameter menu of the ar7200. It comes stock in "sport" mode. This is one of six options that can be chosen in parameter "B." You can find more info on how to do this in the AR7200bx manual right here:

Also, let me know how that setup works for you. If you feel like its not right for you tell me how you like to fly. I'll get my 300 out and see if i can't find a good setup for you.Oxy 2 210, Warp 360, Goblin 700c
