Cut back on the head speed if you can, either with a pinion or kV change. Can you try a smaller pack size? 5000 is a lot of weight to haul around.E820, Raptor G4N, X50F/E, E620, Forza 450, and some planks.

In what shape are your lipos? Proper setup is critical for lipo health. Voltage has nothing to do with the flight duration. mAh is what comes into play here.
Try 12° pitch, make certain you are at the correct headspeeds for your setup.

The problem is the inefficiency of the 6S set up. You have to go up to 10S or 12S to get better flight times.

He can go longer on 6S. I have a similar setup (different heli) and I get 7 minutes easy.E820, Raptor G4N, X50F/E, E620, Forza 450, and some planks.

The Goblin is a 2 stage drive system and has a high disc load. Making Goblins harder on packs than other heli's. Here are a few things that will dictate flight times:
- head speed
- total pitch
- collective management
- disc load (flying weight)

You can drop HS and pitch but if he wants to keep the same performance with longer flight times, it's 10S or 12S (providing packs weight close to his 6S).

Of course you can stretch 570 to swing 600mm, drop the HS to 2150 with pitch to +/- 2 but 6S will be not good in the long run.

In my opinion for ideal optimum sport / mild 3D (since the term is so loosely define from one pilot to another) flight performance for 6S, it would be a Goblin 500 swinging 523mm. I was able to use different size packs for the Goblin 500:
- 6S 3700 30C for 5:00
- 6S 4100 45C for 6:25
- 6S 5000 45C for 7:30

When stretching the Goblin 500 to swing 553mm, efficiency is not the same for hard 3D.

* I suggested the Goblin 500 for the SAB Universe, ideally .. it would be the Logo 500SE / 550SE with 6S on 600mm when compared to all heli's.

I have customized:
Logo 600SE with 690mm on 6S
- 5 minutes of smooth 3D @ 1500
- 8 minute of circuits @ 1200 (inverted and upright)

Goblin 630 with 660mm and lighten 2 lbs from stock
- 5:30 of advance 3D

Goblin 570 with 600mm on 12S
- 7:00 of advance 3D

* if you are not doing 3D, than flight times will go up. Unless stated, my flights times include
- 20 seconds for lift off
- advance 3D such as 4pt tic tocs, piro flips, big air, funnels with reversals.
- land when timer beeps at 30 seconds

570 with 553mm blades was easier on packs than 570mm blades. But even on the trex 550 with 523mm blades, it is always hard on 6S packs. Of course you can turn down the HS / pitch and manage your collective ... But all in all, 6S on 523mm is pushing packs and flight times if you fly hard.

If you are flying just circles .... Than the lowest HS while still having authority will would work. If the HS with your flying style gives you unsatisfactory flight times .... than a higher cell count would be the next logical step sir.

2450 and mild 3d?! You do know you could do even hard 3d at 2200?

Drop 3 pully sizes and run 2100 rpm and I bet you get 6 minutes+.

5500 lipo is all very well but at 4 minutes with a 5000 your talking an extra 20 seconds on a 5500, maybe even less due to the extra weight.60% of the time, it works every time!
