Vcontrol plane with flaps
Vbar neo, non blink, using satellite vcontrol rx.

I cannot set up my simple fun cub with standard tail, ailerons, and basic flaps. One flap will work, the second will not.

#9 microcell installed for first flap. Cannot seem to creAte any workable macro ell, mix, or anything to get second flap working.

Because of the external rx, I cannot use aux 3 for the second flap, so I plugged into the aux 1.

I thought you can program anything to do anything on this radio.

I also tried using a y cable to share both flaps but one needs reversed. Installed a servo reverser in line with one flap and it will not operate with vcontrol, although it worked with my airtronics tx.

I'm stumped and have four more advanced planes to set up.

Have you looked at the VPlane Videos on the VStabie pages?

I must admit that I tried to set up a VPlane with a smoke system and Ignition cut and I found it very difficult to get my head around it.
Unless it has been fixed it is near impossible to set a timer up that does not activate from the throttle stick, not what you need for a gas plane.
I would be interested to see if you sort it

Just curious, but if you can get one flap to work, why not just run a "Y" to the other flap servo?Logo 700, Specter 700, Goblin 700, Trex 700DFC, Gaui X7, Logo 690SX, Logo 600SX; Trex 470 Trex 500

Allot of manufacturers build the servo mounts into flap equipped wings with mirrored geometries, so the left and right flap servos must rotate in opposite directions(two different/opposing signals) in order to stow/deploy flaps the same direction.

I had thought about that also, but they do make a reversing Y harness that seems to me would resolve the issue.Logo 700, Specter 700, Goblin 700, Trex 700DFC, Gaui X7, Logo 690SX, Logo 600SX; Trex 470 Trex 500

I went back and forth with my Silverline on a 3DHS Bigfoot and eventually said screw it and put a JR Matchbox in. THe problem I had was the second flap port was unusable for my purposes because that servo pulls high amps, and the port they have you use on the Silverline specifically says not to put anything that draws more than a throttle servo in it.

Screwed around with Macrocells for a day and could never get it working right. I was able to get it to follow the first flap servo, but there is a smooth deployment on the first that the second would not mimic no matter what I do.

Hope you have better luck than I did. I've pretty much decided that Vplane isn't very useful and made my Vcontrol exclusive to my helis.

Unfortunately, this response is what I was expecting. Other pilots struggling to use V-plane effectively and efficiently, and limitations on ports and channel assignments in the gyros.

Yes, I have watched the videos but non of them apply to even the most basic situation I am attempting to set up. Also, they don't show how to work with the radio. I see a table full of electronics, a hand pointing to sticky notes following a heavily accented dictation. There is not a walk through on HOW to achieve the Vplane set up, but rather a messy display of what can be done.

The other concerning thing I realized is that they are using two expensive neos to set up one model.

Here is a more direct and simple question...

The V-control set up wizard tells me to plug flap #2 into Aux3. Because I have a non-link neo, Aux3 port is used for the satellite rx. I thought I would simply tell Aux1 to mirror Aux3, and then plug flap #2 into Aux1. It won't work.

Then, I tried to make Aux1 a slave to the first flap which is set up in macrocell #9. That also won't work.

The bad news is that I now have 6 more planes to set up and this is the most basic of them all.

I can't post on vstabi.info. I have tried. I cannot get logged in. I have reached out for assistance from Mikado USA and Vstabi.info. Unfortunately I am playing with my models during the Christmas vacation and they are obviously on holiday as well, probably as far away from hobby drama as they can get, don't blame them.

I will go back to Vstabi.info and look for other threads as a guest.

I performed a search on vstabi.info for "flaps" and only see one unanswered post.

English is the minority on Vstabi.info.

Your not the only one with problems on the vstabi site. I've been trying to register for years now without luck. It never gets activated. Emails either go unanswered or they reset my main account where my Vbars are registered.Nick Crego

It is a bit of a mess. the domain vstabi.info hosts the vbar registration site AND the forum. But, they are managed by independent logins. You can be logged in to the forum without being logged in to the registration data, and vice versa.

if you go to vstabi.info and click the login at the very top of the page, this will show you your hardware and software registration info.

if you click the 'forum' link in the sidebar of that page you will be taken to the forums, where you will need another login. your hardware/software registration will NOT work here.

All I can suggest when talking to the vstabi admins is to be specific as to which account you're having trouble with: registration login or forum login.

The number of sites, number of usernames, and number of passwords, all of which must be different is simply FAR TOO COMPLICATED and not user friendly.

I was told by Mikado USA on the phone that I should send them an email with all my various account login information and request that they streamline my accounts. I submitted all previous and existing information with instructions on what I want to use for a final username and password.

I won't go into all the login username and password mess that has been created because of the complicated Mikado systems... but it is horrific, especially because some of the old email addresses I have used are no longer accessible by me. I would type pages to explain all the drama and road blocks.

When I sent Mikado USA an email they abruptly stated there was nothing they could do, I must email Mikado Germany. Argh!! They told me on the phone to send them an email. Frustrated, I replied that I was sorry to have bothered them.

Mikado USA sent another email response, this time rather demeaning, BUT they would do me a HUGE exception and contact Mikado Germany on my behalf.

Mikado Germany has not responded, possibly because of the holidays, but this puts me at a stand still for nearly two weeks during my vacation, which is my free time to play with the hobby.

I simply want to use and enjoy my Mikado products!!!!

Also MikadoUSA and Mikado Germany are two separate entities. The login info at our site will not work on their site unless you used the same info. This is why I tell folks to use the same info for both of the Mikado Germany sites, never gets mixed up...Team MikadoUSA 480XXTreme, 550SX, 600SX, 700XXTreme, 800XXTreme!!
