wondering what is the best position of the receiver and ant for the DX9 radio on a Raptor50 V2 Helicopter..Just upgraded to this radio.

Which Rx are you planning to use? On a 50 size bird you will want to use a main and remote Rx. The main concept is that you want to put each Rx on opposite sides of components that may block(carbon and metal) the 2.4 signal.The second is that you want them to be at least 3 inches apart.

Use Telemetry or a Flightlog data reader during your low power/range tests to assure your Rx locations are good to maintain the proper signal in all orientations.

My main Rx is on the front of the radio tray my sat is mounted to the back of the fuel tank. Never had a problem

Generally that is a good configuration.At least one Rx/antenna is always LOS with the Tx.
