Bingo... yet I manage to get 25 minutes on a tank on mine (do you have a small tank??)
TRM s.e. engine 300 tt with a TRM muffler

stock T Rex tank 6.76 gear ratio head speed of 2000
I stop most of the time with about 3/8 of an inch left in tank (12 minutes)
but it will not go more than about 16 minutes filled to the max
and then run bone dry
and its only a little rich the plug is cocoa brown

I believe its the TRM muffler with the huge outlet on it
I have 710 CY blades on it
it will pull 13 degrees like a freight train with no bog at all in the heat of summer

A friend has the TRM 275 tt in his Whipflash and he cant believe how mine runs

ageing is manditory maturity is optional

600 streched with 300T-Rex
some one need to design a bigger tank my nitro.....big tank, my gasser little tank...

need 2 of these on each side and a OS electric pump.......LOL

golbin 770 has same problem

i cant believe someone complain about a gasser......no pun intended, i got 3 now caz nitro is thru the roof......but gas is $1.93 a gal

Actually my TRex that I get 25 minutes on is also a 300.

But I only run 1800rpm (Rail 716s @ 12.5 degrees), so I'll Grant you the second point.

Fair enough.

Flying style can affect fuel consumption also. I don't know how you guys fly though.

Different motors different consumptions
Toxic motors have high timing need RICH needles to operate properly.
Hanson motors have lower timing numbers by design, run with leaner settings.

Each is a different design, you have to try both to know which one you like better.

Flying style will affect gas numbers also, but not as significantly as high speed needles being open 1/4 to 1/2 turn more between one motor and the other.
