Hi guys. Need a little help. I just got in my 230s and with only a couple of flights under my belt this thing is one of the smoothest flying helis I have ever flown straight out of the box. Incredible. BUT I have the left drift in normal flight mode. I have done the trim flight according to a video on youtube I saw a week ago but it has not helped. if I flip it in to idle 1 or 2 it is rock solid hover. hands off. but in that normal mode it has a pretty good drift left. I see that there is a post here witht several instructional videos I am dying to look at but I cant view them for some reason on this computer? Any help would be appreciated. I have the DX8

Did he crash? Dang, I missed it!

Do you simply have some left trim in normal mode by accident?

60% of the time, it works every time!

There is an updated calibration procedure, and updated firmware as well.

I don't own a DX8, but most recent radios have an option that allows you to share trims across all flight modes, or individual by flight mode. Having the trim different in one flight mode causes the symptom you have in flybarless systems.

firmware update
I just purchased my 230 and the updates on the firmware are from 2014. At least what I can find. is there a newer one or should I be up to date? I don't have the cable is why I am asking. I need to purchase it if I need to update.
