Trump is still gaining in the polls even after mentioning banning Muslim travel to the USA.

My take on it is there is nothing unconstitutional about restricting a group from entering. Especially if the demographics are destabilizing. Seeing what's happening in Europe, we're not totally out of line limiting further groups from entering.

That said, those who are already here we need to embrace lest they circle the wagons.

I'm all for ending multiculturalism. Melting pot theory was always meant to mean ONE CULTURE that other cultures shape. A homogenous culture, not separate groups. Melting pot - yes. Multiculturalism - no.

But yeah, cutting off influx is not problematic. We did it with communists who were threatening the fabric of society, why not extend this to other ideaologies.

We're not talking about deporting people who covert to Islam or are Muslims. That'd be problematic. But stopping the inflow? Not an issue.

As for Hilda - we might be surprised. One more ISIS attack on our soil and I think Trump slides right into the position...while Hillary is left with her thumb in her butt calling for gun control. That's not going to work, lady. Everyone will see through the BS PC politics that has been so idiotic. People WILL vote their best interest instead of feel-good stuff eventually.

Here's something to think about. The female voter.

Will they be impressed by Clinton because she's a woman? Or will they consider and fear what Islamification of our culture could do to women's rights? I could see the female vote going either way, and that's one thing Clinton assumes she has in the bag. I think she appeals to the feminists or SJW, but many other women may see her as just a $h1t stirrer who has a lot of skeletons in her closet, and not so keen on women's liberation if her life is any example. Plus gun control + unfettered Muslim entry to our nation could shift politics and society away from women's rights. It'll be interesting to see what this demographic does.

Female voters historically are more inclined to focus on and vote for single issues only.

+1 that. They are suposedly "screening out the bad ones" which is arguably already a religous based litmous test.

I was looking over an interesting page of opinion pols of Muslims across the middle east and in Europe and found that in most places, even UK that 80% are in favor of death penalty for any who leave the Islam faith.... that kina is the base line, and it goes downhill from there.

"WHAT'S TRUE: President Jimmy Carter announced sanctions against Iran in 1980, including the cancellation of visas for Iranian citizens"

He actually rounded up and deported many thousands because he did not like the color of their skin! That rotten redneck racist biggot bastard!

See? Carter is the Super-evil Swampmonster-spawn of Satan and Hitler!

what i dont get is why we have people saying that "...its against the constitution..." to ban muslims from entering the country.

guess what

In 1952's Harisiades v. Shaughnessy, the Supreme Court upheld the right of Congress to expel noncitizens who were former "Communists. "

https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/342/580/

So given that...the congress can most certainly ban a group based on a belief structure... if the congress has that power as proven by this court case, then the POTUS has the power to do it if he wants.

all this "its against the constitution" bull.... the government decides what is constitutional and what is not just in case you have not figured that out yet, the court system records are littered with such infractions against people when it suits them.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

what ever makes the country safer for my kids who go to malls xmas celebrations tree lightnings ect ... If some imports are putt off for a year or so till we get our vetting processes down. we had major failures to locate these two radicals living here, well known to nsa and fbi how they didnt line up the dots, just like 9/11 we only find out after countless more Americans are dead. we need our intelligence agency's to do more then drink and buy prostitutes so much for them getting their act to gather after 9/11 failures

The irony is we gave up Constitutional rights with the Patriot Act to ensure nothing like 9/11 could happen again. And now, when government drops the ball, government will enact further controls and restrictions to liberties. You know, to catch the bad guys. Then when they drop the ball again, they'll squeeze the iron fist tighter.

Pretty pathetic. And sort of like the fox guarding the hen house.

Haven't you noticed everything known about this Farook guy after the fact? Like it came out that he'd planned an attack in 2012. And was radicalized for some time now. What's up with that? All this dirt on the guy that agencies MUST have known. And he's walking free?

Just like with the gun control. Government enacts wide sweeping regulation that limits the public, fails to enforce, and responds by enacting further regulation. The public loses and the government wins. It's like an insidious power grab. Little by little the frog is boiled. Pretty soon there won't be a bill of rights.

Here's a stunning reality of modern times that history has proven beyond a shadow of doubt:

"Politicians are not going to fix our problems. They will simply make problems worse"

At this stage in our history, can anyone question that?

Vote for Trump 2016

Trump is not a normal politician like we are used to. That should be obvious. He's a patriot that refuses to be politically correct and every single attack his opponents place before him gets shut down and makes him more desirable. He is feared and hated by all of conventional wisdom in Washington DC on both sides who refuse to enforce our laws, our constitution, our bill of rights and our own national security while in fact going out of their way to gleefully invite onto our land, our streets and our neighborhoods our sworn enemies while feeding, clothing and housing them.

Liberty once lost, is lost forever.

Well said Dennis. And it is right for the time for
a True American to replace the 'Fundamental transformation
of America" the bumster has done.

If we, as a whole in majority, don't take DJT, we will run
out of time to fix America. IMHO, we are ALMOST Screwed...

I believe he is our best shot.

Our LAST SHOT.

racism.

It's so bizarre. You have racists, plus these leftist self-flagellating whites, both thinking that the "white race" -whatever the heck that means - is forever stained with guilt, and eradication of the "white race" would be some sort of cosmic justice comeuppance. Is that what you are saying? Because it seems to be what you are saying. If so. Wow.

You can't be against racism and then come out with something like that. Being against racism doesn't mean you turn your guns from one race to another. It means you put the guns away. Otherwise it's just more racism.

It's so funny how the liberals, the supposed enlightened ones, are so fixated on race. They are the ones who play identity politics. You know, the identity politics that is a CONSTANT reminder to people in certain "camps" as to what "camp" they belong in. The identity politics that even if you don't want a "camp" you are placed into one. Then you are bombarded with identity politics and it takes a VERY thick skin to not go on the defensive and identity with your "camp." The libs cannot stop thinking about race. They perpetuate the division. In what COULD be a postracial world, they fan the flames wherever possible. They divide and ensure no unification of cultures and races. And then point the finger at others when called out on it.

Get screwed with this racist/white guilt nonsense.

"Politicians need many faces, think Donny only has two."

Communists have as many faces as required.

In order to steal via their commie malarkey.

And these people have ran up a 20 trillion dollar debt...with no end in sight....except to run up more debt...as jhark advocates.

A bunch of socialist BS.
