Hello,

I am trying to set up the end points on my vbar nitro gov.
When I try and adjust the " high limit- full speed" I see no effect on the servo or any movement. When I play with the " low limit-motor off", I can get from closed throttle to about half throttle. I cannot seem to figure out how to get from end to end on the carb. Any help?

Make sure you don't have throttle off turned on. You will need the throttle switch in the run position to adjust max throttle. The switch needs to be in throttle off to adjust the low.

Some arguments are sound and nothing more

Thanks for the tips. I went back and tried to see if that was it. I tried it in throttle off, idle and run. I cannot seem to get the servo to move at all anytime after about 1/2 way. I am stuck for sure right now. I cant seem to make anything happen when I work the " high limit- full speed" . When I have the heli in run on bank 1 ,I get throttle from close to about half. After that nothing.

Do you have bank 1 set to direct throttle control? That should be setup in direct control and switched into bank 1 for setup.

Yes, I have it on bank 1. I am totally stuck. No matter how I have the switches, "high limit-full speed" I get no servo movement . I am going to vstabi and ask also. Any help would be great.

Also, what port for the throttle servo? Should NOT be channel 4. Should be on the end of the Vbar. This is my method.

I am not sure about the position of the motor run switch but I am sure that you need to move the collective stick fully up to adjust the full throttle setting and all the way down to set the throttle closed position.

Problem resolved.

I was trying to use a bls276sv tail servo. No go. Wrong pulse band.
I bench tested with a bls272sv. All good. Would not be having this post if I used one of those servos. Do you guys think the bls272sv will be good to run gov on my os50 hyper?
Thanks for all the advise everyone.

Sure. Don't know why it wouldn't.

I am actually in the camp that excellent nitro governor performance benefits from a much faster servo than the older, slower airplane rudder servos. I proved this to myself last season, switching from a Futaba S9151 to a Futaba S9254. It made a terrific improvement in consistency of running when on the Vbar governor with zero other changes. I know this isn't accepted as rule by all and perhaps doesn't play out in all engines and helis, so YMMV.

I probably won't build another nitro bird after the one I have is put to rest, but as it is now, I have a Vbar Silverline, YS91SRX, Torq BL9080 on 2S lipo, and governor performance is terrific.
