Ok. Come on guys. I cant be the only one out here still using an original DX7 radio. I just picked up one of these 230's hoping I could program it with my DX7. Of course there are no specific instructions for this radio. I went ahead and programmed as much as I could gather from the DX7s settings and I was able to hover the thing. I am going to do the trim flight and see how good I can get it. so couple of questions

1. is the consensus that on a DX7 the "bind" button on the back is active automatically as the bailout button?
2. Somone out here has to have done what I am doing with a DX7 already so I would love to talk with you about my settings.

Thanks.

Did he crash? Dang, I missed it!

You're right! I am also in that same predicament. I have some of it figured out, but information is hard to find...

On the 230 the bail out is expected to be on AUX2, not the button on the back (don't think this button can be assigned). The "mode" uses the Gear channel (stability, agility and 3d). Hope this helps...

Since I no longer have a DX-7, I can't do the specific instructions. However my post: Blade 230s with JR X9303 and other transmitters not in the manual may give you enough information to figure it out. Remember to use the monitor screen to verify the channel 5 output.

I borrowed a friend's DX7 and did the setup. The post describing the programming is: Blade 230s with original DX7 and other transmitters not in the manual
