Oh we in it now boys how stupid. prepare for ww3. barry need to come out and say he condemds the actions of turkey. there was no need to bring that kinda action to a border incursion, esp when it was over a terrrorist hot spot but i also know people who have been radar locked for getting to close to russian airspace. ALso these reports here

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...rctic/13746681/

SO maybe it was time for a lesson ?? or maybe turkey needs to stop protecting these IS terrorists ?? OH BOY $ h i t e is getting to thick to shovel

Looks like someone is doing some serious pushing,i hope that they know what they are doing, for all our sakes.I for one doubt if they do,past actions prove otherwise!Shooting the crew on their way to the ground on parachutes, bloody animals but better than being cage burned alive i suppose!

Putin is complicating thing down there by helping Assad and turkey don't want Assad.
Turkey is a member of NATO, which considers an attack on one of its members to be an attack on them all.
Yes we are in for some deep $#it now.

Let me see what this idiot Obama going to do now.

The pilots didn't land in ISIS hotbed but they being bombed these guys too so pilot is still in trouble.

Probably just a mistake by one side or the other. We may never know the answer.

One thing is certain. Russia is after the oil. Anyone with a brain knows that. That's why they annexed the Crimea along with have a naval port on the Mediterranean Sea.

But, can Russia handle a wider war in the region? Their economy is in the tank. And Russian citizens are moving out little by little for the riches of capitalism and the freebies of socialism.

Maybe with China in the picture, Russia can handle a wider war in the region. But, the chinese are pretty slick. If the chinese make a grab for all the oil, what can Russia do? Expand the war to throw out China? If they make a pact to share the oil, which side will cheat first? That's what they both do. So, we can expect it to happen again.

Shall we, the USA, get involved? Hopefully NATO will before we will. Or at least most of the European powers without NATO. If we do get involved, do we fight both Russia and China as well as the terrorists? Then, who gets the oil. The USA would likely leave and let others fight for it. Maybe that's what the terrorists want. Surely it would be difficult if impossible to coordinate our forces with China and Russia combined. Who gets the oil? Who gets the land? Do we all divide up the land and the oil and grant it to certain powers like happened after WWII? That got kind of screwed up and it would most likely get screwed up once again.

Oil seems to be the key here. Russia's interest to bolster a faltering economy? China, interest to bolster a burdening economy?

The USA does not need the oil. It's pretty much proven we have enough on our own shores to last us another 300 to 400 years from the latest estimates. So, our only interest would be to curb terrorism. But, would terrorism be a problem if the entire Mid East broke out into war? The answer of course would be yes. Especially if our borders remain open and we invite hundreds of thousands of refugees into our country from the Mid East to eat up our resources (welfare food and housing) and put us further into debt and weaken our own faltering economy not to mention the national security dangers involved in doing that.

Stay tuned for exiting details.

Another good source for oil reserve info is the CIA fact book

https://www.cia.gov/library/publica...r/2244rank.html

Russia has a lot of oil of their own, #8 in world reserves. Are they after more oil? Maybe. probably. But backing Assad and setting up Syria as a Russian puppet state doesn't get them oil directly - Syria has very little oil. What it does do is project Russian influence in the region and give them more leverage on the states that DO have the oil - Iraq, SA, USE, Iran, etc.

I find it funny that a few weeks ago you guys where cheering for Putin, and now suddenly you have seen the light and realized that Russia is just out for their own interests and dont care about us or have any altruistic motives like saving the world from terrorism.

And of course Dennis keeps going on an on about those shale deposits which have not been proven to be economically viable to exploit...

BTW:

It's also my understanding that Russia does have plenty of oil both on shore and off shore. But, they lack the kind of technology and skilled labor to retrieve it by themselves. That particular kind of oil recovery that Russia has is very difficult and expensive to recover.

And with Russia being a geo political foe, who the heck wants to help them do it? No one because Russia has a bad habit of taking what is not theirs in the first place. In other words, they would reneg on an agreement with others to help them recover their oil in a heart beat.

Russia is after bases not oil. they want to populate and base every area of the world. so they can equip with early Waring radar. their sat coverage is lacking for better part of the 2000s. our xband is rated at 3000kmiles their is at best 1000k or missiles can fire based on ground based coverage. n the other most advanced Russian aircraft cant see it till its on top of them. Russia will take what ever they deem theirs and based on put-tin s KGB view. this was theirs prior to us crippling USSR and he wants it back n who n what army is gonna stop him. Ha ha we laugh at us Americans, u r weak compared to us. Let all hope our patriots can save the falling MISS guided Russian missiles that are gonna miss Syria n hit turkey BAD NEWS TO WAKE TO THIS AM

pa has shale and every day the barrel drops in price it cost more to drill n produce it from shale ?? it s a loosing venture just as adding ethanol to gas.
It was only a costly bandaid which the car warranty's paid as more engines ate valves and guides from leaning out and destructive behavior of corn/alcohol based fuel

shale oil is just a band aid to our cost and dependence on foreign oil and lack there of production
