Blackhawk....with the high current demands of today's hi-torque servos, the connector that plug into the RX/FBL/etc. are now a problem....as they are only rated at ~5A per connector...if the pins and receptacle are tin rather than gold plated, derate that to ~4A.

I wish they would make triple and quadruple leads for this reason.

The style of this connector was used in radio systems developed in the '60s, when no one could have conceived what current servos nowadays could draw.

Like being "painted into a corner"

I realise this is an old thread , But a while ago i had exactly the same same issue with my 120A cc ice 2 controller on my goblin 630 , After resoldering every joint and even buying a new battery to be 100% sure I eventually fixed the issue by doing a firmware update via the PC , Problem gone!!

Cold packs can also cause this if you fly near zero degrees although usually only occurs at the beginning of a flight then as the pack warms up the problem goes away.

60% of the time, it works every time!
