The shaft that's in there now is a fly bar main witch is 200 mms but after measuring I need 220mm dose anybody know where I can get a 220mm Trex style main shaft from?

I had a machinist buddy up north that made main rotor and tail rotor shafts and blade axles for me....

Do you know anyone in the machining industry ??

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

g2183mac.
is that a GMP Legend Pro head?

I picked one of those up from a buddy while at Dalton. haven't had the time to rebuild it so for the time being I am using an old Kalt head that looks similar.
I hovered it once with low charged batteries and it seemed real stable at a very low headspeed.
I am on my days at home from work travel, so I plan on testing it again to see how it handles a little higher headspeed.

EDIT: I don't have real good eyes anymore but looked at the pic a little closer and the GMP doesn't have a squared off head block like that. Unless it's the dark color that throws off the appearance.

Hi Roy
No its not a gmp head.the upper part is not even functional.just a design to make it look scale.basically a flybarless head from scaleflying.de site.i wish I could have a huey head that is functional like the real one.

Mac
Take a look at RC Aerodyne.

They have a scale Huey head but it's not cheap.
I would love to get it for my Huey but I've got to see if I want to spend that much for one. Maybe I'm being cheap so maybe someone else could give their opinion.

Take a look at the GMP legend Pro head. It is a nice one to use for a semi scale look. The issue I have with it is the long flybar and paddles but I'm sure that can be fixed easily. They're out there still to be had.
I need to rebuild mine but in the meantime using a Kalt flybar head that I got at a great price and it flies smooth.

Take care!

Mac,
That head is very similar but mine has different arms on it.
I'll get a pic of it. I may try and modify it to look a little scale.
Still thinking about buying the one from RC Aerodyne.

Take care!
