If I wanted to convert my Vigor to electric, what would I need to convert it?

My vigor is going to be used in a scale application.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You basically need to replace the lower bearing block with a motor mount for the electric, likely a home made one, and find a pinion that meshes perfectly with the main gear, hopefully a mod 1 type gear.
I know Scorpion made a few Mod 1. Maybe JR newer pinions may fit.

The original pinion is somewhere between a 10 to 12t.
You need to figure out the ratio that you want and select a pinion and motor kv, and voltage (12S Li-po?) that will work for the range that you want.

I hope you make this happen, I love the way the Vigors flew.

vigor elect. conv.
I did it. I converted a vigor CS it was easy.

I used an extra bearing block & drilled holes to mount an elect motor & then made a collar & tapped it to accept the threaded pinion. simple if you have a lathe
