And be VERY aware that the point when the pack hits that voltage and when it drops off the cliff are about the same. Meters are for the most part useless with Life. You need to know how many ma's you consume per flight and use that to tell you when to charge.

I'd personally set low voltage alarm to be 6.4V - maybe 6.3 but no lower. The voltage drop off from there is a cliff and you've already used most of the available energy from that LiFe pack

Futaba meters are notoriously inaccurate. Fully charge the pack. Discharge it to half - storage mode in most charger. Put it in the transmitter and see what the meter says after a few minutes. That is about where to set it since storage charge is about 50%.
