ROFLOL !!!!

I about killed a lady at walmart at the start of this before the self quarantine came in .. she had a cart load of diapers and she was in her 60 -70's . I remarked passing her that you must have a bunch of grandkids your doing shopping for ... and she unapologetically said "no I am going to sell them on ebay for a whole lot more later on "

Uih

Got a lot done over the past couple weeks. The biggie was getting this thing painted. As it is a satin finish I painted it outside. Came out great.

Also received the bifilar from Tyler Gray Models. He did a fantastic job with making the weights articulate for a real nice scale appearance.

Did not get the mohawk yet but maybe today. Girlfriend is about to hold me down and cut this mop off.

A few pics,

Thanks Joe,

Each glass panel was glued in individually. The frames are so small the 0-80 screws would look like bridge attachment hardware so went that way.

Put some zinc chromate primer on the I side today. I am brushing it on to get good coverage that spraying may not cover. There some nooks and cranny’s spraying would not get to very well. Will take a day or two to get it all finished up. Access it tough in some places. Doing under all the cowls too.

Butch ,,, that is going to far !!!! scale color painting the inside is just to far over the edge You need to get that hair cut as it is putting to much pressure on your frontal lobe !!!! Larry C ----------Bergen R/C helicopters

I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as too far when it comes to scale.

UIH,

Evening gents,

I believe I have the major fuse paint work all finished up. The inside is a nice shade of zinc chromate and looks pretty cool. Still have to do the stripes on the sides, “N” numbers on the side and bottom, lettering stuff like that but moving along. I am not happy with the finish on the aft dog house. It is a bit too shinny and will re-shoot it down the road.

I can begin installing all the systems, get it back in the air and flying again. I plan to work on detail as it moves along.

A Few pics. One with an issue, an empty.

Stay safe me friends.

Butch as usual folliwing yoyr builds is like watching a movie, and tbe ending is always great. It will be nice to see that tbing flying again but with color. It is going to be a tough one to see i imagine but i think the stripes will make a difference.
Heres my attempt at the bifilar i fingerprinted for my S-76. It looks pretty cool in flight altho its still got some details i havent added yet.

drive a rotary, fly a rotorcraft

Uih,

Cool.

My brother has always lumped me up for not having a bifilar on my 76. With all the recent upgrades maybe I should add one.

Began installing schit on my 67. This just looked pretty cool. Have a lot of gear detail still to add and paint it all but want to get it flying again.

Lola likes the water by the gutter down spouts. 3 months 30 lbs. She going to be a monster.

Stay safe my Friends.

He came from the shelter and and comes to the name Waldo , he is a 2 yr old cross between bull dog golden retriever /gray hound and is fast!! He about drives me nuts throwing his ball when we are outside or heck even pesters me in the shop with it so much that sometimes I have to put it up .

Uih,

Larry,

Rox left us last year and Lola is a ray of sunshine.

Been rocking the 67 this week. I thought this thing looked Dad Azz before paint but now after color,

Dammit Mang.

Powered it up today for the first time to rig the stabs. Will work each system over the next few days. I still have to set the gear doors up in the sequencer. I do not believe I ever flew this thing with the doors working.

OH SNAP!!!

Got a CV-19 Apocalypse “Hawk” today as well. Ha.

Stay safe my Friends.
