Ron,

Someone mentioned I should paint my 76 in that scheme. That was a marketing poster from years ago which was pulled for obvious reasons.

The vertical panel lines are made into the fuse. When I made the plug for the molds, I uses a broken dremel cut off wheel mounted into a xacto knife handle and used the edge of the wheel to cut the vertical lines. I put a few heavy coats of primer on the plug then cut the lines using a tie wrap as a guide as it is a bit flexible to go around the curves and bends of the fuse. If there are no line on the fuse, you can use the same process of a few coats of primer then cut the lines in with the cut off wheel mounted in the xacto handle. Folks have used the tape but I find the tape is a bit too wide in some cases due to the scale of the model.

Hope this helps,

B

I use Chartpak graphic tape to do the panel lines. It comes in 1/32 and up and leaves a nice line under a couple of coats of primer. Little easier than scoring.

Thanks Joe

I have used the tape and it works great. I actually have a few rolls of it but for some reason didn't use it on this project.

My next project i will pull it out.

I’ve also used my vinyl cutter for scale goodies, lays on primer real well no issues with paint over the top of it.

Uih,

Been on a friggin roll. Most of the exterior detail is wrapped up and was able to move on the the cockpits. Actually I have been avoiding the glass mounting “Homie” is running out of excuses.

Will be time to “Pay the Piper” very soon.

Its amazing what parts you can make from a “parts tree”.

Happy Easter my Brothers.

I believe i am about ready for color. Just a bit of finish sanding needed to knock of the edges.

Added some additional detail as well

UIH,

Happy Easter.

Thanks Gent,

We getting slammed up here in Zoo York with the storms my southern brethren endured with yesterday. Today will be a good day to begin installing the glass to the cockpit frame. This will be fun I am sure.

Stay safe out there my friends.

Ha,

This small stuff is hard to see but with a little help not too bad.

About the hair. It scared me too this morning. Pretty much everything is shut down here in Zoo York. Barber Shop or stylist are not considered "Essential Services" but after looking at that pic maybe "Harpo" should reconsider. I am sure "he" can get a haircut if needed.

Girlfriend is going to get after it today with the buzzer. I told her I wanted a Mohawk as I need to get ready for the coming "Apocalypse"

I had a guy that worked for me a while back. He was waiting for the "apocalypse" along with his "prepper" buddy's. His job believe it or not was to stockpile toilet paper! He had a whole bedroom full of it, said it would become the new currency. Bet he is laughing these days
Did get some social distance pod and boom flying in today

I didn't crash. I just ran out of airspeed, altitude, and ideas all at the same time!
