UIH,

At present they are held in place with aileron hinge tape. It holds pretty good but after about 50 cycles yesterday, I could see where it we beginning to lift. I did not prep the tape surface at all just stuck it on. Its easy enough to replace if needed but who wants to do that.

I have some small nylon hinges on the way along with a couple other potions to see what will work the best and last the longest.

Stuffing all the control linkage into the wing and still being able to remove it has been a little tough. I will have to install a panel on the bottom surface for access to the servo but think I may be able to put small holes to access the screw for the bell cranks.

Its all a work in progress.

UIH,

UIH,

I received the panels last week. They needed a little trim which was by design to get the best fit.

There will be side panels where the CB's, some other boxes, radio control heads and other schnizzle was mounted.

A couple pics.

After Dalton I bad some work to catch up on. That is behind me so pressing on with a couple projects.

First is the S-67 cockpit. Still tons of details to be completed but off to a good start.

The panel and side panels with schnizzle just sitting there look pretty good. Also making the mold for the glare shield for the aft cockpit.

Comanche is getting a TGB overhaul and the “BBW” is getting a tail drive upgrade. Flex shaft is getting ripped out and a hard shaft is going in. The shaft log seen in the pics is from my 67. I will use the same system and process for this upgrade.

UIH.

Off topic.

Celebrated our 9th anniversary yesterday. Been together for 15 years but it took me 6 years to figure out I had better not let Ro get away.

I scored BIG TIME.

I love you Girlfriend.

UIH,

I received my new drivers the other day. They look pretty good and fit in nicely. Now I can finalize the side panel and IP placement and get it all mounted in place. The instrument panels will be removable.

I also started laying out some chicken scratch for some fuse detail.
