Hey guys. Setting up my trex800 camera ship, and looking flight controllers. I mainly want position and altitude hold. Don't care about way points or any of that. I've got a couple apm 2.6 units and they're great. Just wanted to see what you guys play with? Cost isn't a problem, and I want 100% reliability.

Thanks guys!

Hi veteran friend,
with a name like “eeeeky” you must be special, just kidding
I have been a long time helicopter AP’er. I am familiar with DJI AceOne and Naza H.
Will be very happy if you could kindly explain what this “apm 2.6 unit” is?
Cheers,
Ahmet

Oh im special, dont doubt that...hahahaha Youve been an AP'er but dont know what APM is?? Wellll, its Ardupilot Mega. Extremely popular full automated autopilot.

Ive looking into the Wookong H, Naza is out, ill never trust one of those again.

I have been fooling around with AP for years, both in helicopters and multirotors, and I didn't know what APM stood for either. As for DJI AceOne and Naza H, Naza M, I recognize.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

Hi Gyro,

When I started AP in 1996(only stabilization was a HH tail gyro) it was with film cameras (Pentax MZX), films were Gold, Ektachrome, Superia and similar.
He could not help himself but put that comment. He probably is right after all.
I am going to hit 60 next January you know. It is so nice to have been a part of this wonderful community
Cheers,
Ahmet
