A federal judge ordered KY county clerk Kim Davis released today.

She is the Kentucky county clerk that was jailed by a local judge for refusing to issue a marriage license to a gay couple per local laws after SCOTUS threw out the traditional definition of marriage and made gay marriages legal across the land and totally overlooked the 1st amendment rights of citizens.

Since that ruling many judges and county clerks nation wide have refused gay marriage licenses and refused to officiate at gay weddings.

Kim Davis apparently has been ordered by that federal judge that she cannot interfere with county deputies in her office that issue gay marriage license under threat of being returned to jail.

It's a conditional release.

We'll have to see what happens. At the moment no statement from Kim Davis's legal team other than saying she has no regrets.

Huckabee just ended his race for prez with that stupidity....

your religious beliefs cannot determine which parts of the law you choose to follow and which you choose to ignore so if they are in conflict, then you need to find another job.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

You have a fair point.

However, when the federal government refuses to enforce immigration laws and allows millions to pour over our southern borders and allow illegals to steal from our entitlement systems, our educational systems and our own social security that we have paid into our entire lives, then I say people have a right to say, "screw you" to the same federal government that just made a ruling directly violating our 1st amendment rights.

As far as telling those folks to, "find another job" why could not that gay couple, "find another county clerk?"

Any rational adult knows they could have done that. So, what really was their intent?

BTW: Huckabbe ain't going to be president in his lifetime.

their intent was to go after her...they knew her situation, they could have gone to any other county and get one...so she was targeted no doubt. But she could have easily stated that they could have gone to another office, but she didnt, so she stepped in it so to speak.

as far as the Feds... they are a tangled mess. this is what happens when you put too many stupid people in charge that really dont know how to do anything but make excuses.

I sadly believe that the USA is not in decline...but rather reaching terminal velocity and the solid ground is fast approaching...and ALL will suffer cause we the people did not hold our politicians and especially their minions accountable, and it is the minions in the background have been sitting in the system from the beginning serving politicians that come and go, but they stay and so have become a festering mass that has killed what this country could have been.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

Well , as soon as they have flooded Europe and find out there are no jobs and housing , they will look west . So you just may have enough for your dumster fire
Will have to wait see if those "rubber duckies" that survived the Mediterranean, will make it across the Atlantic .

So far we look safe down here, not much left over to come to after the African destruction.

You can already hear it from the Euro's.
They say we created this mess, so we need to take them.
Once word gets out that the gravy train runs all the way to the U.S., it's Katy bar the door.
And Obama will have us take them all.... with NO screening of who we're letting in.
Have you guys noticed Trump has caved on this??? He says it's a humanitarian problem and we need to bring a bunch here.
I was never a fan anyway, but that just sealed it for me where he's concerned.
Soon, we'll dream of the days of just worrying about thugs running around with a few guns.

As far as telling those folks to, "find another job" why could not that gay couple, "find another county clerk?"
They did tell everyone (straight and gay) that they could go to the next county and get a license only the media failed to ever report it. It was always about suing her. The "gay couple" came in staged and choreographed this whole act to get a license knowing Kim was not issuing them to anyone (Gay or Straight)! They had several friend's with their phone's at all different angles recording the whole thing knowing they were going to be turned down then went straight to the lawyer's office. It snowballed from there everyone wanted to sue. The "gay couple" that was "In Love" could have easily drove 12 mins to the next county and got a marriage license they could have even had the judge marry them on the spot if they was wanting married so bad. But no they went to a lawyer and for 2 months keep coming back to Kim!
I would have drove any couple to the next county myself not that I support gay's I am tired of all of these people coming in from out of town crying she won't give me a license. How many counties did they pass coming to Morehead! I have not heard 1 straight couple complain or sue they got in their car and had a license from another county in 15 mins. By the time I wrote this they could have had a license but no they have to drag this out for months. So I guess they will start suing Church's that won't marry them now that they have their license!

Horse crap.

It was about getting that religious hypocrite to do her job.

I don't care about the gay crap as long as its not near me, but SHE broke the law.

This country is founded on religious freedom, not Christian fanaticism by a fundamentalist who knows nothing about the bible and what it teaches.

She is perverting the bibles true meaning, AND breaking the law of the land and county.

She needs to be laughed at.

Whether we like it or not, I don't. They are citizens and have rights guaranteed by the constitution under freedom of religion.

So lets say we cave in to this fat hypocrite ignorant nut job, then we have to let dirty muzzys cut our guaranteed services because they want their fanaticism to rule our lives.

If you open the door for nut jobs, all the religious nutter come rushing in. Not just your favorite one.

Yup, that is standard practice for the other side.

But, yet Christians are demonized for doing so even though their 1st amendments rights have been directly violated.

SCOTUS really screwed up with that gay marriage ruling by totally, 100% ignoring the 1st amendment either intentionally or by other fault.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
While this above may be correct, its totally non sequitur to this issue of her not following the law
But, not following the law was the whole point of my statement. If the federal government ignores its own immigration laws and the American people get screwed to the tune of billions upon billions from our entitlement programs as a direct result, then the American people have a right to say "screw you" to laws directly restricting their rights guaranteed in our constitution (1st amendment).

Liberty once lost, is lost forever.

No if Kim was Muslim there would have been a totally different response. The State would have stepped in immediately and made the application online and problem would have been solved 2 months ago.

...or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;
If you follow the letter of the law...killing domestic terrorists is pretty much illegal. They are "exercising" their religious beliefs by killing those that do not believe as they do...

SO...

this whole war on terrorism is actually a "holy" war.

creepy huh?
